Agricultural output in Ukraine grew by 4.7% in Jan-May 2014, State Statistics Service

The January-May 2014 agricultural output index In Ukraine (including the temporarily occupied territory of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol) was up 4.7% year-on-year, the state Statistics Service of Ukraine reports. In particular, this percentage equaled 8.7% for farming companies and 1.3% for household farms. At the same time, the January-May 2014 agricultural output index excluding Crimea was up 4.7% year-on-year, including 9.0% for farming companies and 1.1% for household farms.
