Ukraine. State Statistics Services improves assessment of Ukraine's GDP in Q1, 2013

Ukraine's real GDP shrank by 1.1% in the first quarter of 2013 compared to the same period in 2012, whereas according to the previous estimates, the decline in GDP in January-March 2013 was 1.3%, the State Statistics Service has reported.
Compared to the fourth quarter of 2012, taking into account the seasonal factor, GDP grew by 0.6%.
Nominal GDP in the first quarter of 2013 amounted to UAH 301.598 billion.
GDP per capita in the first quarter of 2013 was UAH 6,624.
