Ukrainian sunflower oil producer and grain exporter Kernel Group has entered an agreement concerning the purchase of 100% shares of Russian company “Russkie Masla”. According to Kernal, “Russkie Masla” is worth 60M USD. 15 M USD will be prepaid after completion of the prerequisites. Operation is expected to complete by the end September, 2011.

41.16% stake in "Kernel Group" belongs to deputy Verevskomu Andrew, who recently resigned from BYUT. Shares are traded on the Warsaw Stock Exchange (WSE). The "Russkie Masla " has three crushing plants in Krasnodar and Stavropol regions with total capacity of 400,000 tons processing of sunflower seeds per year.
