The Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine (AMCU) has allowed Cyprus-based KSG Agricultural and Industrial Holding Limited to acquire two agricultural enterprises in Ukraine, increasing its land bank to 52,900 hectares.
The committee permitted KSG to acquire Agro Ltd. and Dnipro Meat Packing Plant (both based in Dnipropetrovsk, eastern Ukraine), which will increase the company's land bank to 52,900 hectares.
"This acquisition was made as part of the vertical integration of processing facilities inside the holding," KSG said in a statement.
The Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine earlier permitted KSG Agro to purchase three agribusinesses with a total area of 9,800 hectares, which increased the company's land bank to 43,200 hectares.
