IFC lends $35 million to agricultural holding Mriya

International Finance Corporation (IFC), part of the World Bank Group, has provided agricultural holding Mriya with a credit of $35 million for 3 years. This is stated in a press release of the holding.
"This is the second investment by IFC in our company over the past 2 years," Mriya CEO Mykola Huta said, adding, "Our results have provided a high level of investor confidence, and we are planning to use funds to improve the grain storage infrastructure and expand grain production."
According to the IFC expectations, investment will help expand the land bank from 240,000 to about 441,000 hectares by 2014.
