OJSC Myronivsky Hliboproduct (MHP), a major agricultural company of Ukraine, is planning to launch two elevators by the end of the current year, Yury MELNYK, first deputy of MHP board chairman, recently told journalists. “The new objects are expected to be in operation by harvest. They include a new elevator to be launched in August-September 2011 on the premises of Vinnytsya Broiler. The elevator has 400 Th m3 of storage space: 200 Th m3 for grains and 200 Th m3 for oilseeds. And there will be a new elevator for 45 Th m3 at the Katerynopil-based compound feed mill. This is what elevator capacities will be added as of the 2011 season,” said Yu. MELNYK.
He added that all the construction planned for the first stage of the Vinnytsya-based enterprise are progressing in line with the schedule and the first poultry population is expected to be moved into the newly built Vinnytsya Broiler facilities next year. Please remember that MHP’s overall production capacity equaled 360 KMT of chicken meat a year as of late 2010. However, after putting into operation Vinnytsya Broiler poultry factory, whose construction is currently underway in Vinnytsya region, MHP’s production capacity will rise to 580 KMT of chicken meat a year. In particular, the launching of the poultry factory’s first stage (110 KMT) is scheduled for 2013 and that of the second stage (110 KMT) for 2014. Overall, the project is designed for four production lines that implies its total annual capacity within 440 KMT.
