Over 5 years KazAgro Holding directed more than USD 6.5 bln to agroindustrial complex development

Chairman of the Board of KazAgro National Holding JSC Berik Beisengaliyev has met with representatives of the Turkish business society; the company's official site reports.
Heads and representatives of the Turkish manufacturers of agricultural products, equipment, trade-logistics, construction companies and other members of the Association of Businessmen of Kazakhstan and Turkey (KATIAD) are among the meeting participants.
Thy discussed the current state and prospects of the state policy in development of the agroindustrial complex of Kazakhstan. The Turkish partners were interested in investing conditions for foreign companies into the country's agroindustrial complex as well as priorities in the agrarian sector, needs in production and procurement of agricultural equipment; the company's press service informs of it.
According to preliminary estimates, this year more than USD 1.7 bln was allocated for the agroindustrial complex development.
Taking into account the forecast for 2011, over five years of the holding activity more than USD 6.5 bln was directed to the agroindustrial complex development.
Today KazAgro implements 177 investment projects.
