Volume of direct foreign investments 1.5 fold up to USD 5.3 billion

Volume of direct foreign investments in Ukraine grew 1.5 fold to USD 5.3 billion over nine months of 2011 against the same period of 2010.
In September, director foreign investments made up USD 732 million, the National Bank informs in its estimate of the balance of payments state.
According to the NBU statement, investments are aimed primarily at the real sector of the economy.
