Free Trade Area with the EU - new opportunities for farmers in Ukraine?

Within the 4th International Conference Agricultural Investments - Inputs 2011 “Investments: Global demand – local supply” will take place a Round Table “Free Trade Area with the EU - new opportunities for farmers in Ukraine?”
Moderator of the Round Table will be Evgeniy Milovanov, chairman of the Federation of Organic Movement of Ukraine
During the session will be discussed the following issues:
- Free Trade Agreement with the EU. Pros and Cons for farmers.
- Will the inputs become more available for farmers with the signing of an FTA with the EU?
- Crop production and processing: realities and opportunities for Ukrainian products in the European market
- Prospects for livestock and its products within an FTA with the EU.
The Round Table includes presentations by Oleg Yukhnovsky (Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce), Stepan Kapshuk (Association Ukroliyaprom), Evgeniy Milovanov (Federation of Organic Movement of Ukraine), Marina Kozlovskaya (Ukraine EU Consulting) and others.
To take part in the Round Table were invited representatives from the European Commission, Ministry of Economic Development and Trade, Ministry of Agrarian Policy of Ukraine, heads of leading Ukrainian agricultural holdings and other market participants.
The Conference will take place on November 16, 2011 in President Hotel, Kyiv, Ukraine
